Online communications agency 3W PR launched to help business adapt to changing media

Posted on 01 September 2008 by 3W PR

3W PR, a new communications agency introduced to help navigate organisations, brands and individuals through the World Wide Web has today been launched by online PR specialist, Stephen Davies.

Believed to be the first of its kind based out of North East England, 3W PR will provide consultancy in online PR, social media, search and mobile communication and will offer training and support to clients on the etiquette of the online world.

The company’s launch client is online news distribution company, webitpr, where Davies worked previously as social media manager. In his new role he will continue to advise the company on new trends and developments in social media and work with webitpr’s developers to progress its Social Media News Release platform.

3W PR will begin trading from 1 September while the company’s training course, Online Communication and Engagement, will commence from the middle of September.

Managing director of 3W PR, Davies, said, “I don’t think anyone who works in the PR industry , or indeed the wider media industries, would disagree with me when I say that the momentum is moving online. One only has to look at the way the internet has become entwined in our daily lives in such a short period of time to figure that one out.

“With this in mind 3WPR has been introduced to meet the growing trends of how consumers are now informed and how companies and organisations do business. The online world presents unlimited opportunities to organisations of all sizes but they must abide by online rules of communication and engagement. This is why a key objective in the company’s business plan was to place a lot of emphasis on training.”
